Job Title: Retail Development Coordinator / Store Design Coordinator (Short-Term)

Location: Parma, Italy

Job Type: Short-Term / Hybrid after probation period

Salary: up to £35,000 per annum

Our client is an innovative and rapidly growing retail brand committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences. They are seeking a Retail Development Coordinator / Store Design Coordinator for a short-term contract (until mid September) to provide administrative support to the Retail Development Manager and assist with store projects.

Role Overview:

This temporary role involves providing essential administrative support for retail development and store design projects. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in the construction or architecture industry, with solid knowledge of technical and legal issues, and the ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative support to the Retail Development Manager on store development projects.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and documentation.
• Assist with site visits and report on project progress.
• Liaise with internal teams, contractors, and external vendors to ensure timely project completion.
• Address technical and legal issues as they arise, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• Maintain clear communication and accurate records of project updates.

Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience (1-2 years) in the construction, architecture, or retail development industry.
• Good understanding of technical and legal issues related to store design and development.
• Fluent in English and Italian; additional proficiency in any other European language is highly desirable.
• Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Proficient in MS Office; experience with design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, etc.) is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external partners.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
